Fertilization Program:

We’ve collaborated with leading local and nationally recognized horticulturists, to develop a fertilization and weed control program that will help you maintain a healthy, thick, and weed free lawn all season long.

Fertilization – We only use the highest quality, timed-release, high-nitrogen, fertilizer. The soils here in Carrollton are primarily composed of high-alkaline clay.  Nitrogen is the element most often lacking in our soil, which can prevent healthy plant growth in your lawn. We recommend having your lawn fertilized four to eight weeks throughout our active growing season, early Spring through early Fall.

Pre-Emergent Weed Control – Pre-emergent weed control herbicides can be administered as either a spray or granular application. Pre-emergent herbicides either kill weeds directly or halt the germination process, preventing unwanted weeds and grasses from growing past their seed form. One of the main reasons our customers use pre-emergent weed control is for the prevention and management of White Clover, Crabgrass, Goosegrass, and other grassy and broadleaf weeds.

Post-Emergent Weed Control – Post-emergent herbicides are applied by spraying, but only after our specialist identifies the types of weeds present in your lawn. Our licensed weed control technician will review your lawn to determine what type of broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds are present, and apply the proper post-emergent herbicide for the control of your specific weeds.

Insect & Grub Worm Control:

Insect Control – We apply our high-quality insecticide for the control of grub worms and other ground insects.

Fire Ant Control – Upon request, we will bait active fire ant mounds. We do offer a separate service to keep mounds from forming.
